Glassly vs Lovable for mobile apps
Lovable builds web apps, and its own docs say there is no built-in flow to package a project for the App Store or Google Play. Glassly builds native iPhone and Android apps and signs them on its own servers. So the choice is less about which is better and more about where your app has to live: in a browser, or on a phone’s home screen. If you are looking for a Lovable alternative for mobile apps, the table shows the difference cell by cell.
| Fact | Glassly | Lovable |
|---|---|---|
| What it makes | Native iOS and Android apps (React Native), from a template or a description, with a managed backend | Web apps (React), with a Supabase-based backend |
| On your iPhone | Signed install on your iPhone; needs your Apple developer account ($99 a year), no Mac | No native app; the web app can be added to the Home Screen |
| App Store | Uploads to App Store Connect for you and follows the build to TestFlight; you submit | No built-in flow |
| Google Play | Signed App Bundle; you upload it in Play Console | No built-in flow |
| Free plan | Standard templates, 5 native builds and 5 AI credits; no card | 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month |
| Cheapest paid plan | $5 a month (Basic): 50 credits, unlimited native builds | Pro $25 a month (100 credits), or $21 a month billed yearly |
| Code export | Free on every plan (Expo project) | Download on paid plans; Git sync on every plan |
Choose Lovable if
Your app lives in a browser: a web app, an internal tool or a site people visit through a link. Lovable builds those by chat, with a Supabase-based backend, Git sync on every plan and code download on paid plans. A web app can still be added to a phone’s Home Screen.
Choose Glassly if
Your app has to be on the phone: installed from a link, TestFlight or the stores, with its own icon, sign-in and data. Glassly starts from a finished template or your description, builds and signs the iOS and Android apps without a Mac, and uploads iPhone store builds to App Store Connect. Standard templates are free, and Basic is $5 a month with 50 credits.
Using both
You can keep a Lovable web app and make the phone app in Glassly beside it. They are separate projects: Glassly builds its own app and backend rather than converting a Lovable project, and the two do not share data unless you connect them.
Quick answers
- Can Lovable make a native mobile app?
- No. Lovable builds web apps; its documentation says there is no built-in flow that packages and submits a project to the App Store or Google Play. A Lovable app can be added to a phone’s Home Screen as a web app, or wrapped with a separate tool.

- Glassly builds native iPhone and Android apps from a template or a description, with a backend included, and signs them on its own servers, so no Mac is needed. Standard templates are free; Basic is $5 a month with 50 credits.
- Is Glassly cheaper than Lovable?
- Glassly’s Basic plan is $5 a month with 50 credits and unlimited native builds. Lovable’s Pro plan was $25 a month (100 credits), or $21 a month billed yearly, on 24 September 2026. They buy different things: Lovable a web app, Glassly a phone app.
